This my newest version of The Submarine UL-730 Preamp based on the ultra rare Vox UL730 amps used by The Beatles on Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's, for guitar AND bass!

MKII includes both the clean and boost (dirty) channels of the original versions selectable via toggle switch in a more compact 125B size enclosure. 

It works just as well as a standard pedal on a pedalboard as it does as a standalone preamp for recording, running into a power amp, or straight into the return of an amp’s effects loop.

Controls

  • Gain - Controls the input gain.
  • Clean - Master volume for the clean channel. 
  • Dirty - Master volume for the dirty channel. 
  • Bass -  Boosts or cuts bass frequencies
  • Treble - Boosts or cuts the treble frequencies.
  • Middle - This is where the true magic lives. This control has a large amount of boost & cut available to the midrange frequencies delivering a wide range of different voices.
  • Clean/Dirty Switch - Switches between the clean and dirty channels.

  • Power Supply: Any standard 9V negative tip pedal power supply. This pedal has built in voltage doubling so never power it above 9V.
  • True Bypass Switching: Premium soft-click footswitches.
  • Made using a mixture of modern SMD and traditional through hole components including WIMA film caps and Panasonic Electrolytic.
  • Knobs: Solid Aluminum Black Round
  • Signature UV Status LED.
