Shadowfax is a double overdrive pedal featuring my versions of two of the most popular "boutique" circuits on the market today. On the left is our Klone and the right is the BB/KOT style circuit featured in my old Thing of Tone model.
Our Klone doesn't deviate from the original design too much. The germanium diodes utilized are specially selected NOS soviet D18 germaniums. We also use a higher spec charge pump IC for the voltage doubling to allow for selectable voltage for the ToT side via internal dipswitches, either 9 or 18 volts.
The ToT also features a clipping mode toggle switch and uses BAS33 silicon diodes to make that happen.
All of this in a 1590BB sized enclosure and topped off with an order toggle switch.
Specs:
- Runs off a standard 9v negative tip pedal power supply. Don't ever supply this pedal with more than 9v.
- Alpha Pots.
- Rean Neutrik Jacks.
- True bypass switching with a soft click switches.
- High quality SMD resistors along with premium WIMA and Panasonic capacitors.
- Sand textured powdercoated black enclosure. 1590BB Size.
- Includes a lifetime warranty.
*International deliveries may be a week or two slower depending on your location.
